For the intro video of the 28th Athens International Film Festival we employed a combination of human thinking and artificial intelligence. In an avant-garde approach, we took a sneak kaleidoscopic peek through the collective imagery of art into dreams and memories.

The story starts on a moody city street…The daily grind feels inescapable. Time passes while nothing happens. Yet, each and every frame change is a metamorphosis, just what Godard called “truth, 24 times per second”. From the dark movie theatre, we are transported to the vast darkness of the universe, on a journey that encompasses a spectrum of phantasmagoric imagery and new media, never before possible. We are traveling towards an explosion of artistic renaissance.

The story -and the journey- end with that very explosion of light and hope, as the art of cinema blooms once more, luminous like a cosmic flower.
